Samana Group ’25

A short story about how a Cupra became a Golf This time, I’d like to present a project created for the #ratajracing team and Samana Group, DR. The goal was to maintain a light, breezy design inspired by the atmosphere of the Dominican Republic, which is central to Samana’s activities. That’s why the entire design was based on a smooth tonal gradient, enriched with a subtle wave pattern and elements of the Dominican flag. In my opinion, the final result turned out very attractive and really stands out among other cars.

An interesting twist in the whole process was the fact that, on the eve of the wrapping, a decision was made to switch the car from a Cupra to a Golf TCR. As it turned out, the dimensions of both cars are very similar, so the design — with almost no file modifications — was successfully applied to the new vehicle, thanks to the reliable RaceWrap team.

Krótka historia o tym, jak Cupra stała się Golfem Tym razem chciałbym Wam zaprezentować projekt wykonany dla ekipy #ratajracing oraz Samana Group, DR. Założeniem projektu było utrzymanie lekkiej stylistyki nawiązującej do klimatów Dominikany, wokół której koncentrują się działania Samany. Dlatego cały design oparłem na łagodnym przejściu tonalnym, uzupełnionym delikatnym motywem fal oraz flagi Dominikany. Całość, moim zdaniem, wyszła bardzo atrakcyjnie i wyróżnia się na tle innych aut. Ciekawym “detalem” w całym procesie okazał się fakt, że w przeddzień oklejania zapadła decyzja o zmianie auta z Cupry na Golfa TCR. Jak się okazało, gabaryty tych aut są bardzo zbliżone, dzięki czemu projekt — niemal bez żadnych modyfikacji w plikach — trafił na samochód za sprawą niezawodnej ekipy RaceWrap.
